A sweet, slow October Sunday morning....
*with multi grain bakery bread, sliced so thinly that when you toast it, it falls apart on the plate.
*Homemade apricot jam from a friend who always likes to say "thinking of you" and "thank you" when his son comes to hang out here with our son.
*Deep, rich coffee in a favourite mug given to me by my son.
*Reading this magazine, the Fall issue from Sweet Paul and feeling that there is a lot to be grateful for in this season of harvest.
*Taking my time getting into my day and moving as the mood takes me.
*I hope you are enjoying a similar kind of day...how do you savour the sweetness of a Sunday?
We share almost the same Starbucks cup, mine has blue letters and a slightly different shape, how funny! (But not really) Mine although had LOTS of creamer in it, flavored of course...
ReplyDeleteI am hopeful my mood is not what it was yesterday, I am trying to re-group from a "pity pot" day yesterday...
Enjoy your Sunday, xo
Coffee and toast is the best way to start the day - sounds like a lovely Sunday.
ReplyDeleteThe sweetness of a Sunday is savoured by taking is ever so slow...Waking up a bit later and enjoying a long breakfast and puttering around the house in pj's...It looks like you truly know how to savour the sweetness of your Sundays ;-)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a day of bliss-
ReplyDeletelovely.

Wishing you a great week.

Church, dozing on the couch after Sunday dinner. Reading a magazine, blogging, more dozing:>) And always coffee!
ReplyDeleteThe perfect Sunday morning!! My kind of day!
ReplyDeleteI love sweet, slow relaxing Sundays, too. Unfortunately, this wasn’t one of them!
ReplyDeleteBut change is good, right? ;)

I'm positively panting at the sight of a Starbucks sign. I swear there is something addictive in their brew. Wednesday is my Starbucks day and already my blood is scouting out for it...
ReplyDeleteI have the same coffee mug and it's a favorite as well. I love slow Sunday mornings (and Saturdays as well, I call them lazy mornings) when we hop around in our pj's, doing art, reading, writing journal, and take our sweet time until we finally all meet at the breakfast table.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it lovely to just chill out and just live, nowhere to go, nothing to do, just pootling.
