A juxtaposition of life in the fast lane and life in the slow lane. The Amish who travel by horse and buggy. Who plow their fields with machinery pulled by a team of horses.
And a group of cows who know that when the heat is as extreme as it was this week, the only thing to do is find a comfortable spot and just "be".
love the photos... Glad you had fun.
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. xo Jenny
ReplyDeletethe joy of travel...being able to enjoy and experience other places and then return to home.
DeleteI wouldn't mind a horse and cart life for a while, hearing horses hooves clopping along our lane as they would have done in the past would be a welcome respite from constant traffic. I think it is true that travel broadens the mind. It is good for us in so many ways, we can live such little lives and it reminds us that there are so many ways of living on this planet of ours.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos Sherry.
ReplyDeleteGlad that you enjoyed your trip
Have a great Sunday

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh... you're in my backyard. It's beautiful isn't it? That's why L.A., NYC, none of them could keep me ~ it's was the enchanting rolling hills of PA that captured my heart. That... and all those trees.
